John Trevathan, CPA - President
John has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 25 years. He has experience in public accounting, budgeting, forecasting, controllership, and fiscal management. He attended the University of Texas and graduated with a BBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. After graduation, he joined a large local CPA firm in Houston where he worked with clients in the manufacturing, oil & gas, banking, and real estate fields doing audits, tax preparation, and management. John then worked as controller/CFO for corporations where he managed all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, banking relationships, purchasing, and cash management functions. John formed Trevathan CPA in 2003. He has focused on assisting small business and individuals by providing unique solutions to help clients to focus more on achieving their goals and less on accounting, tax, and compliance issues. John enjoys playing golf, billiards, hunting, and shooting clays with his son.
